Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions:
• "User" refers to any individual who downloads or uses the EuTask app.
• "Service Provider" refers to the independent contractors who offer services through the app.

Introduction

Welcome to EuTask. By downloading, installing, or using the EuTask app, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with these terms, please refrain from using the app.

Services Provided

EuTask is a platform that connects users with qualified handyman service providers. The app allows users to request services, receive quotes, and schedule appointments.

User Accounts

• Users must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

• Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account details and are fully accountable for all activities that occur under their account.

• By creating an account, users agree to provide accurate and complete information. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials. Misuse of accounts or providing false information may result in suspension or termination of access.

Service Providers

• Service providers listed on EuTask are independent contractors, not employees of EuTask.

• EuTask does not guarantee the quality, legality, safety, or outcomes of the tasks completed by contractors. All agreements regarding service delivery are between the client and contractor, and any disputes arising from services are the responsibility of the respective parties involved.

Payments and Refunds

• Payments for services are processed through the EuTask app.

• Users agree to pay the full amount agreed upon at the time of booking.

• Refunds are subject to the cancellation policy detailed within the app.

EuTask charges fees for the use of certain platform features or services in terms of commission charges, cancellation charges, etc. Clients agree to pay for services promptly as per the agreed rate. Cancellations may incur charges if specified by the contractor.

User Responsibilities

• Users must provide accurate and complete information when requesting services.

• Users are responsible for ensuring the safety and accessibility of the worksite for service providers.

• Any misuse of the platform, including fraudulent activity or harassment, will result in the termination of the user’s account.

Limitation of Liability

• EuTask is not liable for any damages, losses, or injuries arising from the use of the app or services provided by service providers. Our liability is limited to the value of the booked services.

• Users agree that EuTask's total liability will not exceed the amount paid by the user for the service in question.

Privacy Policy

EuTask collects, uses, and shares personal information as described in the Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms and Conditions by reference.

Platform Communication

All interactions between users and service providers should occur within the EuTask platform. This ensures privacy and allows EuTask to monitor communications to help maintain service standards, uphold security, and assist in dispute resolution if necessary. Communication outside the platform may risk service quality and void any liability or support commitments from EuTask.

Modifications

EuTask reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Users will be notified of any significant changes, and continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing Law

In the event of a dispute between a client and contractor or with EuTask, we encourage amicable resolution through direct communication. If disputes cannot be resolved, users agree to submit to the jurisdiction of Danish law for legal resolution against the contractor (EuTask would not be part of this due to the intermediary platform). Any formal dispute will be handled by courts within Denmark, except as otherwise required by applicable local laws.

Termination and Suspension of Accounts

EuTask reserves the right to suspend or terminate user accounts for any violations of these terms, fraudulent activity, or behaviors that compromise the safety and integrity of the platform. EuTask will notify users via registered email prior to termination, except in cases of immediate risk to user safety or security.

Tax Compliance

EuTask users, including service providers, are individually responsible for adhering to local tax laws, including reporting income and remitting applicable taxes. EuTask does not offer tax advice, verify tax status, or act as a withholding agent. We encourage users and providers to consult with tax professionals regarding their obligations.
